Texas Broadcast Educators’ 2023 Creative Works Competition

In our inaugural year of the TABE Creative Works Competition we received a good number of quality entries from several Texas schools, but as we build and grow the competition, we will fine tune and streamline the entry categories and expect more schools to compete in future years. So, start planning for the student work being done now and in the fall semester to be entered at the end of the spring 2024 semester and then again at the end of fall 2024--with all judging done from mid-December 2024 through mid-January 2025, and to be announced at the 2025 Spring TABE meeting. Entries will be accepted from April 15, 2024 through May 17, 2024, then open again November 15, 2024 through December 20, 2024.

Listed first are our Video Finalists, as a ranked list within each category that had winning entries, with entry titles linked, if available.  Awards were announced at the February 23, 2024 TABE Spring Meeting at the University of Texas at Arlington. Students not listed here may also have received an Honorable Mention Award for a high quality entry that did not place here.
